Incense of the day: Cedar Witches' ladders, also known as a Witches' rosaries, are a grouping of beads used for meditation and manifestation. The great rite of Beltane bestows a lusty energy upon the month of May. While thoughts of love and romance abound now, the first love that must be manifested is the love of self. A well-loved and well-nourished self is most likely to attract those who are equally loving and nourishing. For this working, you will need fifteen beads. One bead will represent "you," and the other beads represent the attraction beads of self-nourishment. These beads should be of an attractive material such as rose quartz. You will also need stringing material. Focus the intent of self-nourishment on the "you" bead while you thread it onto the string. Then focus on a particular aspect of your self-nurturing while you string the first attraction bead. You may want to state a positive affirmation, reprogram a negative self-concept, or even plan an act of self-nourishment. Repeat this process daily until the Full Moon. Keep your ladder with your magical tools to occasionally refocus your attention on your self-nourishment. |
