Spell: Fern Protection Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Black
Incense of the day: Pine

Millions of years before flowering plants appeared on our planet, ferns grew here. They are the ancient ones of the plant kingdom and are among the most magical of plants-used for centuries to repel evil. If you feel you are the subject of negative magic, start a fire in a heat-proof dish or fireplace. Scry into the flames to reveal the source of the harmful magic. Take three fern fronds that you've cut and dried, crush them, and begin sprinkling them over the flames, saying:

Turn back the spell,
Undo the deed
Protect me
In my time of need.
Break the curse,
Let the spell return.
I am protected
By fire and fern.

Let the fire die, and then sprinkle the cooled ashes around the outside of your home.
