Incense of the day: Ginger This spell honors Hulda, an old Germanic goddess of marriage and fertility. When it is snowing, it is said Hulda is shaking the sheets. To further encourage this spell, drink elderberry wine with someone you love. Elderberry is sacred to Hulda. To start, pick a time when you have the house to yourself. Light some white candles in the bedroom and strip down the bed. Get out some clean white sheets and put on the bottom sheet, spreading it out in a clockwise motion. Take the ends of the top sheet and lay it straight on the bed. Holding the ends of the sheet, lift it it up and down three times, saying: My love who lies between these sheets, A love that nothing can defeat. May our passion be pure, And our nights be long From this day forward, Our love grows strong! |
