Color of the day: Yellow
Incense of the day: Juniper Have at hand those things that remind you of this time of year-harvest goods of fresh ears of corn, pumpkin pie, and apples or apple cider. These will be your "cakes and ale." Gather things that remind you of your accomplishments this year: business items, papers from a new job, something you have made. Add pictures of your family and friends. All items should be associated with personal success. Find a place where your feet touch ground, the sky is open, and you can see the Moon. Otherwise, choose a comfortable space where you can close your eyes and "feel" the ground and "see" the Moon. Surround yourself with sacred space and call upon your deities to join you. Now look around at all the things you have gathered. This is your harvest: successes that have grown from your creative mind or personal skills. Give thanks to your deities for your harvest this year. Eat the foods that you brought into the circle. Finally, clear out your sacred space. And remember to take leftovers outside to share with the spirits of the harvest. |
