Spell: Spring Cleaning

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Gray
Incense of the day: Lily

Spring is in full swing, so it's a good day for spring cleaning. Physical cleaning is as important as psychic or spiritual cleaning. Get a stick of incense, preferably something aromatic like cedar or copal, or use a sage smudge. Gather your tools: brushes and brooms (remember the broom is a symbol of Witchcraft), rags, mops, and cleaning products. Put them in the middle of the kitchen or some other clear spot. Use the broom to draw a circle around them. Run water in a pail or bucket, add a pinch of salt, and recite, "Bless this water for cleansing, bless this salt for purifying." Sprinkle the blessed water on the cleaning supplies. Light the stick of incense and draw another circle around everything, reciting "Blessings of air and fire on these tools." Put the incense in a holder and allow it to burn down while you start to clean your home.
