Incense of the day: Marigold With the Sun in the sign ruled by the Moon (Cancer), and the Moon in the sign ruled by the Sun (Leo), today is an excellent day to do a spell to bring matters into balance and harmony. Get a Moon symbol, such as a small mirror, and a Sun symbol, such as a yellow, silver, or gold candle. You also need a bell. Put the Moon and Sun items on opposite ends of your altar or a small table. If you have a specific issue, name it, and consider both sides of the situation. Meditate on various forms of balance: light and dark, cold and heat, and so forth. Move each object halfway toward the center. Meditate a little longer, then move the objects so they are next to each other. Meditate on the two opposite forces joining, like the yin and yang symbol. When you feel like the situation is more in harmony, ring the bell to end. |
