Spell: Break a Love Spell with Lilies

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Lilies have the power to break love spells, so if you tried one and it went sour, or you feel you are under the influence of another person's magic, here is a spell to break those ties. Gather fresh lilies from the garden or the florist and tap into the powers of the waning Moon to help diminish the original magic.

This flower fascination has a simple task,
Break tha told love spell, and call the energy back.
May these fresh lilies be a symbol for me,
Hearts are no longer bound and our wills are free.
As the flowers fade, so too does that silly old spell,
Any harmful effects are gone, and all will be well.

Allow the lilies to stay in your home in their vase until they begin to fade naturally. Then add them to your yard waste to be recycled.

History & Lore of the Lily

A tablet found in Sumeria, and believed to be about 5,000 years old, tells about a city that was surrounded by lilies. Historians believe that lilies spread from Persia on caravans of nomads, who ate the edible root bulbs.
The ancient Greeks help lilies in very high esteem and associated the plant and its flower with Hera. The Romans adopted the Greek respect for the Madonna lily and associated it with their gods. Soldiers carried the roots with them for food, and they used it to make a salve that could used on wounds and burns.
