Labor Day is observed the first Monday in September. This became a federal holiday in 1894 to honor the labor and trade workforce.
This holiday is traditionally celebrated with parades, speeches, and fireworks. Family barbecues are also popular. Today is an ideal time to cast a spell for finding a new job. Place a newspaper on your altar. Roll a dollar bill lengthwise to form a wand. Point it to the four directions, saying: "East, South, West, and North - a new job come forth!" Search the want ads and find at least one place to apply; tap the ad with your money wand, saying: "Energy of Labor Day, send a good new job my way." Release the circle. Unroll your money wand and carry that dollar bill in your wallet until you get a new job. Then give the dollar to charity. |
