Spell: Be a Kite!

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Lift yourself in an air meditation by imagining yourself as a kite. Stand outdoors on a dry, breezy day. Ground and center, feeling your connections to the Earth as you focus your energies deep within. Now stretch your arms out, imaging them as the kite's crossarms, while your feet and legs are the kite's long arm and your head is its top most extension. Lift your chin high, looking up into the sky, and imagine the breeze picking you up. Feel the air swirl around you as your feet lift free from the ground. Meditate on the feelings of weightlessness and freedom as you rise into the sky, unencumbered by earthly connections. Imagine that you can fly, dipping and swinging through the sky with arms out-stretched. Feel the excitement and energy: anything is possible! Allow yourself to be returned safely to the ground, where you can begin planning your next flight.
