Spell: Hilaria Cleansing Ritual

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

In ancient Rome, on this day, the goddess Cybele's likeness was washed in a brook after a dark and heavy series of rituals. Flowers were strewn about, and laughter chased away the gravity of the previous days.
Lift your spirits today, and trasmute heaviness into joy, by performing this ritual. Draw a bath. In it, dissolve a half cup sea salt and a quarter cup baking soda. Then strew fresh blossoms and/or petals across the water. (Be sure they are nontoxic and non-irritating.) Stand above the bath and direct your palms toward the water as you say:

"That which is dark now turns to bright, that wich is heavy, now feather light, like fog in the sun, all sorrow shall part, and my spirits shall rise with the dawn of my heart."

Soak for at least forty minutes. Afterward, watch a funny movie, dance to happy music, or laugh with a friend.
