In the deep dark of winter, let us take time to engage the darkness and welcome our dreams-the magical language of the subconscious that speaks to us in sleep. Tonight, before bed, do a personal ritual to cultivate and stimulate your dreams. Plan a little feast of food and drink to sweeten the subconscious. Research shows that foods rich in vitamin B6 and tryptophan are linked with greater dream intensity and recall. Make a snack of chicken, turkey, or pumpkin seeds. Drink dairy, soy products, or chamomile tea. Savor your snack early in the evening, mindfully consuming and enjoying each sip and bite. Intone:
"I sip to quench my eternal thirst, I eat to feed my dreams, I nurture divine possibility, Knowing that what will be, will be." Place paper and a pen next to your bed to write down the magical messages. Sweet dreams! |
