| This waxing-moon phase is the time to work magick and to add to the pages of your grimoire or personal book of shadows. Set the book up on your work space, and surround it with simple white tealights. Now light the candles one at a time, going in a clockwise direction. Hold your hands up and toward the book but safely away from the candles. Say:
As the moon does grow fuller and fuller each night, My book of shadows grows too, in knowledge and light. A place for charms, and spells, and magickal things, I enchant this book inside a candle ring. By earth, air, sky, and sea, as above now so below, The elemental powers spin and my magick holds. |
