| Sealing your home is a great way to prevent negative energies, bad vibes, and even roaming spirits from gaining entry and nestling in. After giving your house a good physical cleaning, mix together some spring water and sea salt. Using a rosemary sprig, sprinkle the saltwater around the house, moving counterclockwise through the rooms and lighting a white candle in each room. To seal the house, take a small dish of olive oil and saltwater from room to room, placing a dot at all four corners of every window and door. Using the saltwater, draw a pentagram in the middle of each window and door. Then state:
"I seal this window/door from any energies or entities not in tune with my higher power. This window/door is sealed." Proceed from room to room until you've completed every entry. Let the candles burn down safely, and pour any leftover saltwater across the threshold of your front door. |
