| Here's something to work on all year. If you haven't already done so, redecorate your home so the entire space is magical.
Start with the eastern walls and hang a picture of the sky. Put feathers and figures of birds and flying insects and witches on their brooms on eastern shelves. In the south, put images associated with fire, such as an erupting volcano, sun wheels with red and orange ribbons, or solar deities. Moving to the west, hang pictures of the sea and put shells and mermaids on the shelves. Finally, hang a picture of a magnificent forest or a tall mountain on your northern wall and set little bears and reindeer and snow globes on your shelves. Finally, call your circle or coven together and do a new house blessing for your sacred dwelling place. You will do powerful magic here. Vow that your magic will always be for good. |
