During the cooler months, we often notice that the air in the house gets stagnant and needs an airing out, but in the hotter months, especially if the windows are closed and the air conditioning is running nonstop, we still get that stagnant, sometimes smelly air.
Use today to open the windows at least for a little while. If it's really hot where you are, try for a couple of hours in the early morning or the later evening to help keep the temperature down. Otherwise, fling the windows open and let the breeze cleanse and refresh your indoor air. Add a few drops of lemon oil to water in a spray bottle and give all of your screens a spritz. As you work on each window, say: "Out with the old, in with the new." Take a deep breath of the fresh air as it comes in. |
