LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Fire Up Your Will

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Fire is symbolic of our will: the ability to direct our energy to create desired change. The more focused this energy is, the more potent our efforts will be. This spell will illuminate obstructions to your will and help you transform them with fire.

Light a red candle in a holder and focus on the flame. Hold your hands near the warmth and feel the energy travel up your arms and into your body, suffusing your entire being. Say:

Fire, fire, show me true,
Where my will is thrown askew.
Obstructions I now see most clear,
And the highest good comes into view.

Spend time in meditation, open to thoughts, feelings, and guidance. When you identify an obstacle or distraction, draw in more fire energy and infuse the obstacle, seeing and/or feeling it transform. You might receive guidance for practical changes needed to back up this energetic transformation, so be sure to take appropriate action following the meditation.
