First put the incense in the burner and safely light it. This represents air and fire. Next put the water in the bowl and add a pinch of sea salt. This represents water and earth. If you have two people, you can bless the rooms one at a time, first with incense and then with salt water. By yourself, it may be easier to do the whole home with incense and then with salt water. Fan the smoke so it touches all parts of your home. Sprinkle salt water on the walls, floors, and ceilings. Draw a pentacle in salt water over every door, window, and other opening such as vents or electrical outlets. When finished, be sure to extinguish the incense.
