| Since ancient times, birds have been viewed as divine messengers. When you are outdoors, collect feathers which can be used to enhance the energy of your home. Group the feathers by color for a particular effect, or combine a variety for balance and stimulation. Black invokes inner strength; blue, protection; brown, stability; green, prosperity; red, vitality; white, serenity; yellow, luck. Vases or decorative jars can be used to hold feathers upright for display. As in ritual, set your intention and thank the birds that have blessed you with their gifts.
