To make these protective stones, you will need the following materials:

* Several medium to large-size rocks
* A lemon
* A large bowl of water
* Some sea salt
* A towel
* Acrylic paint
* A paintbrush

Collect several medium to large-size rocks. These can be collected on your walks or even purchased from a garden store. Gather them, along with the other materials. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice of one half into the bowl of water, then sprinkle in some salt. Wash each stone lovingly in the water while continuously chanting this verse:

Stone of protection,
Stone of defense.

Towel the stones dry and then paint upon each one a symbol of power while continuing the same chant the whole time. These symbols can be common ones, like a pentagram, triquetra, or hamsa, or they may be sigils of your own creation.

Once all have been painted, place each stone outside your home to create a protective circle.
