The fall equinox is an ideal time to find balance, and this spell uses tarot or oracle cards to focus these equilibrating energies. If using the tarot, place the Temperance card in the center of your altar. For oracle decks, choose a card representing balance.

Shuffle the deck and ask to be shown the forces seeking equilibrium within you, then draw two cards. Place them on either side of the Temperance/balance card. Spend some time contemplating your initial impressions of the cards, then use the following incantation to go deeper:

Left and right, above and below,
Forces of balance, I seek to know,
What it is I'm meant to change
And how my soul yearns to grow.
Show me this, I ask of thee,
That I may find sweet harmony.

Spend time in meditation, opening to additional messages, and return to the cards throughout the day to see how your impressions evolve.
