Now in September, the fingers of dusk draw across the land earlier in the day. You know the season has turned toward autumn and closure. It’s time to settle accounts. It’s time to assess where we are in life and where we’re going. Tonight, take time to decide on your goals and hopes. To do this, create some quiet time. Sit by a window at dusk, and have a pen and paper with you. Focus on the mellow light of dusk creeping in. Think of what you’ve accomplished this year. What do you still want to do? Begin to write a list of your hopes and concerns, then cross off anything that you feel is unrealistic. What is left on your list? Concentrate on these goals. Lay the list on your altar. Over the next few days, read your list. Now begin a practical plan to make them happen |
