POSTED UNDER Moon

Spell: The Dreaming

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today we will be working with the Moon's energies and reaching out to Morpheus, the god of dreams. He can grant prophetic dreams, and to reach out to him you will need to create the right environment.

Gather some incense, a feather, and a heat-safe vessel to burn the incense in or on. The incense will symbolize your request moving through the dreamscape and reaching Morpheus. Wings are symbolic of the god of dreams, so we will use a feather to establish a stronger connection. Move the feather through the smoke of the incense as you repeat aloud three times:
On swift wings shall I fly to land
of lullaby. Let my dreams come
and hear Morpheus's prophecy.

Place the feather on your altar to help facilitate your dreaming. Keep a small notebook near your bedside and write down what you remember upon waking so you can refer to it and see what was revealed.
