The Biography Channel‘s Emmy® Award-winning documentary series Biography® will feature three Llewellyn authors on its upcoming episode on witches. Among the witches interviewed and featured on this week’s episode are authors Silver RavenWolf, Christopher Penczak, and Stefani Barner.

The episode will focus on the history of witchcraft, spanning from ancient times to the modern day Wicca movement, and explore the facts and fiction surrounding witches. According to the Biography website, the program begins by “[traveling] back 2000 years before Christianity when witches were considered great healers who prayed to the forces of nature.”

The “Witches” episode of Biography can be seen on cable network The Biography Channel, airing:

  • Thursday, October 30 (9 PM ET
  • Friday, October 31 (1 AM ET)
  • Saturday, November 1 (2 PM ET)

Silver RavenWolf, Christopher Penczak, and Stefani Barner are all prolific Llewellyn authors, with more than fifty titles between them. Both nationally recognized figures in witchcraft, Silver RavenWolf and Christopher Penczak have contributed many well-known books about the Craft including their latest titles HedgeWitch (Ravenwolf) and The Living Temple of Witchcraft Volume One (Penczak). The wife of a two-tour Iraq War veteran and a member of a Gold Star family, Stefani Barner recently released Faith and Magick in the Armed Forces, a handbook for pagans in the military.
