Where’s Ronald?
Former First Lady Nancy Reagan has long been known for her use of astrology, even consulting astrologers during her her time in the White House with her husband, President Ronald Reagan. President Barack Obama even personally called Nancy last fall to apologize for a gaffe in which he stated that he had spoken to all the living presidents about his upcoming tasks as President but “[d]idn’t want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any seances.” Nancy has recently revealed that her deceased husband Ronald has appeared to her, and that she still talks to him. While this to some of us may seem odd, it may seem quite comforting to others.
Whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, it can be argued that during Ronald Reagan’s time in office, the United States did see an economic state of relative prosperity. Was Ronald consulting astrologers with his wife? Was Obama perhaps too quick to write off Nancy Reagan’s interest in astrology and the occult?
