Florida—Here I Come!
To all my current friends in Florida—and new friends I hope to develop—hello! I’m coming down to the Florida Pagan Gathering in just a couple of weeks, November 5–8. For details, see this link.
For people in the Southeast, if you haven’t been to a Pagan festival before, this is a very friendly one to attend. I’ll be giving three workshops there:
Experience Your Past Lives
You may have read about past lives. You may have even taken workshops on past lives. But have you ever actually experienced a past life? In this workshop you’ll discover what past lives are and have the opportunity to actually experience one or more with the aid of hypnosis. You’ll also discover the techniques of past life regression therapy, the ability to learn lessons and change your life today from those experiences.
Psychic Self-Defense
Many people are worried that they are under psychic attack. This workshop stresses the idea that such attacks from another source are highly unlikely, but shows how our psyches are constantly under attack from advertisers, politicians and even friends and family members. Techniques which will allow people to overcome psychic attacks, prevent reoccurrence and be aware of psychic attacks and attacks on our psyches will be given and demonstrated.
Tantra—It’s Not What You Think!
Tantra is far more than the “yoga of sex” as many self-styled and ill-educated Tantric “experts” have claimed. It is a complete system of spirituality, as complete as the complexities of the Kabalah and as direct and straightforward as any of the numerous Neo-Pagan systems popular today. In this workshop you will discover the “other side” of Tantra, the 98 per cent that does not deal with sexuality. Topics will include opening the senses, crazy wisdom, meditation, breath, magick and much more.
As with a lot of professional presenters, I’ve been moving to a more professional audio-video set up. Although I’ve used computerized visuals to help presentations at indoor conventions, we are trying to make this the first festival situation where I’ll be able to project wonderful images that will enhance the workshop.
For those of you who have had to suffer through “Powerpoint Hell” at work or school, I think you’ll find that my use of visuals is a LOT different than what you’ll usually experience.
I’m not the only featured speaker. You’ll also have a chance to attend workshops given by Janet Farrar & Gavin Bone, two of the most important people in the history of Neopaganism. And perhaps most importantly, you’ll get a chance to meet and talk with other people who share your ideas and views.
This promises to be a great time. There will be music, rituals, Celtic games, special events for kids, a bardic circle, a full-size labyrinth for walking meditation, workshops, and more. I’ll be glad to sign copies of my books, and if you don’t have them, I’ll have a few you can get right there.
