Darkness falls and creepiness ensues. As a child, I was always petrified to sleep in my room by myself because the shadow of the pine trees caused by the yard light looked like an arm trying to get through my window. I’d play in my room all day, but as soon as it was dark and the lights were turned out, I turned into a big scaredy cat.

Years later I’m much more brave and actually seek out haunted and creepy places. Here’s a collection of some of the creepiest places to spend the night. There are so many hotels and B&Bs that tout their hauntedness. Some of the more notable are the Stanley Hotel in Colorado and the Hotel del Coronado in California.

Have you stayed in a creepy or haunted hotel/B&B? Did anything happen during your stay?
