NY Knicks and a Haunted Hotel
I came upon this story and had to chuckle. It’s quite an interesting excuse for losing a game! Maybe whoever books the hotels for the Knicks should check out this website before booking for the next road trip. The Skirvin, which opened in 1911, is a beautiful old hotel and looks like a rather posh place to spend a night! Just watch out for Effie, and don’t be alarmed to hear a baby crying in the middle of the night…
On a side note, I had no idea Oklahoma City even had a basketball team. I used to be so into the NBA when I was in high school but gave it up when I went to college. I could only devote my time to one sport so I reverted to my favorite: football. I see the Thunder came to be in 2007 so I am only a few years behind the times!
