Psychic Animals
I have always thought that animals are extra sensitive and perceptive. We’ve all heard stories about animals freaking out in haunted houses. This story about a cat living in a nursing home and spending time with patients before they die is a fascinating example of how in tune animals are to our emotions and spirits. Literally. I think I might be a little concerned if I noticed Oscar spending time in my room, though…
My cat Saberhagen is very perceptive to things. (Her sister, Salem, is too self-absorbed to be bothered by anything other than the food dish.) Saber’s eyes will be darting all over the room and there isn’t a shadow around. I always wonder what she can see. If only cats could talk…
Hi Amy,
I’m not seeing any response to this message but I also have noticed many, many times that my cats pick up on vibes and sense things that I cannot see. I especially noticed it after I started doing Tarot readings for myself and also my friends and family. There is a space that is right above where I set up my reading table on the ceiling where my cats focus most the time. They look at the same place over and over again, talking to it, turning their heads in different directions and find that specific spot fascinating. I have stared at it with them to see what they are seeing but can’t honestly see anything! I would love to hear other peoples’ experiences with this since I find it very interesting and also believe our pets pick up on things that we can’t, especially the paranormal.
I recently set up a website to do Tarot readings for people using my cats as feline intuitives to enhance my interpretation of my Tarot readings. If you would like to check it out it’s at:

I feel my readings are much more accurate when I combine feline energy with my own during my sessions!
Serena, that is wonderful that your cats have been helping with your readings! I know exactly what you mean when you mention looking where your cat is intently watching and you can’t see anything! Saberhagen is often following something around the room that I’m unable to see. Thanks for sharing your insight on this subject!
