This New Moon in Scorpio occurs November 6 at 12:52 am EDT (4:52am GMT). New Moons are times of new beginnings.

As with the October 22 Full Moon in Aries, this moon is powerful in that it makes no major aspects to other planets. The Scorpio themes of transformation and death/rebirth are apt, as we have passed the equinox and are entering a period of the year when darkness reigns and life sleeps, before we emerge in the spring to renewed life. Look deep within yourself to find those things that you have hidden and perhaps need to work on. Chiron is direct now, granting you permission to work on those deep hurts.

The influence of Neptune will likely also be felt; it is now direct again, having been retrograde since the end of May. This may affect your communication as you struggle to put words to your inner issues with which you may be dealing.
