This card usually features a charioteer, a chariot, and two creatures. There are variances, though. Sometimes the charioteer holds the reins; sometimes he does not. Sometimes the chariot has wheels, and others, it does not. Sometimes the creatures are moving; in other images, they sit still.
Despite all of those possible symbolic representations, it is generally considered a card of progress, of moving forward, of movement. When this card comes up, I rely on the image to direct my interpretation.
