Full Moon in Scorpio, May 17, 2011

This Full Moon in Scorpio will occur on Tuesday, May 17 at 7:09 am Eastern (11:09 am GMT) at 26 degrees. Full Moons represent the culmination of those things that were begun with the New Moon (in this case the New Moon in Taurus of May 3). The Scorpio Moon will be opposite the Sun in Taurus, so there will be a push and pull between the stubbornness of the Bull (and its need for stability and peace) versus the Scorpion’s need to get rid of those things (material or behavioral) that no longer work for us. Mars, Mercury, and Venus are all in Taurus, however, so there will be some added stability to this fight.

This is a time when we will need to decide which feelings, which portions of our selves, are helping our souls grow. Is it time to make personal changes? Or is it time to go back to old patterns, hobbies, friends, et cetera, that once brought happiness?
