The 7 of Swords from the Pagan Cats Tarot!
Usually we don’t like to see this card on the table. However, at this time of year many of us are spending time working on surprises for friends and loved ones. This card promises us a little boost in our stealthy actions as we play elf! Consider enlisting some helper elves if needed.

This is how I interpret this card: The cat is sleeping and comfortable but there are mice running rampant which tells me the cat is sleeping on the job he has left his responsibilities unattended and neglected. The swords in the floor are not a threat to the mice but may represent a bad situation that has developed due to the cats sloth.
