This Full Moon in Libra will occur Friday, April 6 at 3:20 pm Eastern (7:20 pm GMT) at 17 degrees. Full Moons represent the culmination of those things that were begun with the New Moon (in this case the March 22 New Moon in Aries, which found us focusing on our personal initiatives, aspirations, and goals).

The Libra Full Moon opposes the Sun in Aries; we are reminded to check ourselves in the progress we made towards our goals set during the Pisces New Moon. How are we balancing our personal relationships with the relationship we have with our self? Are we spending too much time and energy on one, to the detriment of the other? There may be some push and pull between Libra’s need for balance, while Aries looks for creativity and novelty.

Saturn is also retrograde until June 25, adding to the frustration of any unmet goals or challenges, along with Mars retrograde in Virgo (through April 13). This period of Mars retrograde has us examining our personal energy and how we are spending it; during the Libra Full Moon, we may be forced to examine whether or not we are spending enough energy on those  around us (or too much, as the case may be).
