Awaken Your Innermost Dreams Through Reiki

What I’ve discovered over my years of Reiki practice is that when a dream is sleeping deep inside someone’s heart, it will come awake and start to naturally manifest when Reiki is added to the equation. I can’t tell you the number of times my clients have uncovered—sometimes with great emotion—a dream they had locked inside that finally revealed itself during a Reiki session.
How do dreams get lost in the first place?, you might ask. Well, do you know anyone who encourages you to dream and to live what’s in your heart? It’s true that some receive the help they need, such as if their dream is to be a doctor, for example. This is the type of dream that the people around us can easily get behind. Mostly, though, we are raised to fit into society, not to live our dreams.
The dreams of my clients, are confidential and I won’t reveal any of those here. What I want to share with you is how Reiki brought a dream of my own to fruition—almost without effort on my part! Little did I know that I was dreaming of having a book published when I was inspired to write down, for myself I thought, the amazing things that were happening during Reiki sessions. I started to type them up in chronological order as a log for myself, recording my own progress as a Reiki practitioner. As I read through the stories as I typed, the dream to publish them began to awaken within me, but I knew the timing wasn’t right. Reiki always brings things to completion in the right timeframe so that the results will bring the greatest blessings. More than a decade went by, years of incredible Reiki experiences that took place everywhere from the operating room of Dr. Oz to the locker room of the New York Giants… And then I became friends with an editor. She began to ask to see this record of my work. At first I refused, because I didn’t want to burden her, knowing how much reading she had to do every day as part of her job. But then a little voice inside my head said, “What, are you crazy? She’s an editor and she wants to see your work!”
Once I sent her what had by now naturally turned itself into a manuscript, everything moved very quickly. My editor friend was in a position to present it to an agent, who ultimately helped me write a book proposal that was bought by Llewellyn Worldwide. Now my book, The Healing Power of Reiki: A Modern Master’s Approach to Emotional, Spiritual & Physical Wellness (which was given its name by the Llewellyn editorial staff) has hit the bookstores!
I don’t have words with which to express my joy at having this dream come true. I encourage everyone to experience Reiki and to allow yourself to tap into your own beautiful dreams.
