Followed Home

We’ve all heard the stories about the dog that followed somebody home. In the paranormal field, we often hear of the stories about the ghost that did the same. But what causes that attachment? Is it purposeful or is it involuntary? Or is it due to something we can explain scientifically?

I do believe in some cases it is purposeful and with motive, but for the sake of this blog post, I am going to offer up another plausible cause.

In my twenty-three years of research, I have experienced this a handful of times. I refer to the ghost that followed you home as a form of spiritual magnetism. I often give lectures on the fact we as human beings are of a bio-electrical design and that energy after death becomes a ghost.

Spiritual magnetism is a lot like a paperclip and a magnet. If you have never done this, take a paperclip and rub it vigorously on a magnet for thirty seconds. After doing so, you will find that the paperclip has temporarily become magnetized. The paperclip can perform the same actions as the magnet. It can pick up and attach to other paperclips and even attach to other metal objects. Eventually, the connection and the magnetism wear off of the paperclip, returning it to its normal, powerless state.

I believe the same can be said for the human body and its bio-electrical makeup when it comes to spiritual attachment or the ghost that followed you home.

Have you ever investigated a location so much, that you started to experience the same phenomenon in your own home afterward? I have concluded that we can become temporarily magnetized from spiritual energy and that energy can remain attached for days to even weeks. This of course excludes attachment with motive and a ghost following you home on its own accord. That form of attachment can last much longer.

However, in my experience, I have witnessed and been subject to this temporary spiritual magnetism on more than one occasion. I often spend months to years at any one location to fully understand and gather credible data in favor of a haunting. That is a lot of time to be exposed to the spiritual energy involved.

After coming home, I would often document the same phenomenon or hear the same voice from the location I just left. It was as if the location came with me, but only temporarily. Typically, after a few days to a week, the spiritual magnetism would wear off and my home would return to normal.

In this field, we measure many forms of energy and it makes sense that our electricity can attach to other forms of energy. Just remember the paperclip and the magnet and what’s possible with the human body and the ghost.
