Shelley A. Kaehr, PhDPeople always do their best to avoid pain. Despite that fact, I’ve found that the highs and lows in life provide us keys to unlock the secrets of our souls. Noticing extremes and monitoring our feelings shows us where healing is needed for our personal growth and expansion.

I’ve identified something I call Supretrovie—a spontaneous past life memory that’s triggered by external events such as travel, objects, or meeting people we’ve encountered before that’s featured in my new book, Blast from the Past: Healing Spontaneous Past Life Memories.

Our past lives influence our present all the time through subtle (and at times not so subtle) clues. Look for the highs and the lows. By consciously recalling experiences fraught with emotion, we gain mastery over the self. Ask yourself a couple of questions:

  1. What if your highs and lows are emanating from the very depths of your soul?
  2. What if certain people, places or things are either enthralling or disturbing you to get your attention?
  3. What if these happenings are stirring up memories about things that occurred hundreds if not thousands of years ago?

I’ve discovered that past life regression is not needed to find out who you were in your former lives, but can definitely help to heal those highs and lows. In Blast from the Past I share several easy-to-do exercises designed to help you create greater peace in your life. Wishing you happiness and joy in all you do!
