Readers, please enjoy this guest blog post by Shannon Yrizarry, author of several books, including Psychic Yoga and the new Kundalini Energy.

Shannon YrizarryIf you’re reading this blog, your soul has already knocked on the door to your life. Whether or not you know your purpose or purposes, you know you want to make the world a better place. You’re a seeker of wisdom and feel at home with those like you. That energy which us seekers can feel is what I felt when I was in kundalini yoga class. It opened my eyes to new ways of manifesting that are helpful for those of us anchoring more light into this realm.

In my book Kundalini Energy, I’ve covered some basic energetic properties that are not just used by yogis but by all major spiritual systems. The very similar rituals include the elements of sound, movement, scents, dietary adjustments, and prayer. From collecting these commonalities, it’s clear that the power we feel in a spiritual group is not just a figment of our imagination but real energy that we can direct.

We generate that energy by using specific, time-tested practices that are most directly codified by kundalini yogis (in my experience). If you are ready to start manifesting right now, start with the exercise I began my journey with, Sobagh Kriya. It’s in my book with illustrations, and you can find great video explanations on YouTube, as well. I have so many magical stories about this kriya (kriya means meditation or exercise). You might not understand why it’s done with such specific details of sound, body positions, breathing, and time, but it is designed in an expanded state of consciousness. Doing this is like typing in a code that will then alter your own energy field.

Try it out and you’ll see there are thousands of kriyas for each life situation and intention that you want to amplify. Spread the light!
