Celebrating Our LGBTQIA+ Community
Llewellyn Worldwide is proud to have numerous authors, employees, and readers as a part of our magical LGBTQIA+ community. If you’re a part of the LGBTQIA+ community or are an ally, we hope that you can share your favorite resources, start a conversation, and create an inclusive magical space for all practitioners. For every reader who has been navigating their identity alongside their craft, it is of the utmost importance that we strive as a community to respect and recognize all gender expressions, pronouns, and sexual orientations. The LGBTQIA+ Llewellyn Community is devoted to acknowledging the ongoing work for acceptance and equality, not just during the month of June, but year-round. We are also proud to recognize the 50th anniversary of Twin Cities Pride and the efforts of those in Llewellyn’s local community who work hard to create a more inclusive world.
Our late owner and Chairman, Carl Llewellyn Weschcke (1930-2015), was involved with the NAACP, ACLU, the Urban League, and the Metropolitan Housing Association, where he served on the board of directors.

Carl believed that everyone should always try to become the best person they can become. We are hopeful that the books and decks we publish help to provide a path to this goal.
