I lived in quite a building my senior year of college. My friend Katie had lived in the building the previous year, and when a vacancy came up, I jumped at the chance to live there. As a child, I was always petrified to sleep in my room by myself because the shadow of the pine trees caused by the yard light looked like an arm trying to get through my window.
