Yep. My bookcase…well one of my bookcases…collapsed. I was trying to move it. It was cheap and several years old. There was a "cracking" sound and one side came off. The shelves slid out to the side and forward to the floor. Chunks of cheap "chipboard" made sharp piles under the corpses of a hundred or more books, many of them now half open. I felt rather blocked and unable to think or move. What could I do? Where should I start cleaning them up? Well, it gave me an excuse to go through those books. There are magicians and there are those who play at magick… I was once participating on an internet forum discussing chaos magick. One person posted that the great thing about magick [meaning chaos magick] is that you didn't have to accomplish anything, you could just do it. I asked why go to all the bother of doing magick if you didn't accomplish anything? I also pointed out that one of the earliest names of what is now called chaos magick was "results magick," indicating that obtaining results through magick was the purpose of doing the magick. According to some people, the Mayans predicted that the world will end on December 21, 2012. Being the winter solstice, this date could be highly significant.
