A man in western North Carolina was calling for coyotes, and was rather surprised to see what some would describe to be Bigfoot lurking around his backyard. What I find fascinating about the story is that there have been stories of a creature of sasquatch-like stature traveling around the area for many years. The police officer who investigated Mr. Peeler's call was visibly affected by the experience, as was Mr. Peeler. First I read that Nessie, the Loch Ness monster, is feared to be dead due to lack of sightings. I breathed a sigh of relief when the official fan club (who was cited for info in the first article) stated that Nessie is NOT dead and is probably just hanging out in the depths of Loch Ness. This made me worry though. Is Nessie the only one? Is there just one with no hope for future Nessies? I think I need to cash in my frequent flier miles and book a trip to Scotland this year, just in case!

Bigfoot. Sasquatch. Whatever you call the cryptozoological creature, it's apparently live and well all over the United States. A trail cam in northern Minnesota captured an image of a creature that was standing upright, and others in the area have spotted something that isn't the usual local wildlife while hunting in this area.
