Way back when I first became involved with tarot, there were not very many tarot organizations. I remember three: the American Tarot Association, the International Tarot Society, and Daughters of Divination. They were known for, among other things, their conferences. The ATA put on many regional conferences throughout the country. The Daughters of Divination hosts BATS (the Bay Area Tarot Symposium). The ITS hosted the World Tarot Congress conferences in Chicago. ***I actually forgot the name of the ITS and had to google "world tarot congress" to find it out.
