Spell: Dark Moon Chocolate

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is both a new moon and Chocolate Day (as part of the celebratory week leading up to Valentine’s Day)—which is a pretty tasty combination! The new moon is an excellent time to shift our focus inward, which can be great for healing but may cause anxiety as well, especially if we can only seem to focus on what we’ve done wrong. A little dark chocolate can help bring some sweetness and grounding to the energy.

There’s a wide variety of dark chocolate bars and morsels available, so find one you like, preferably something with easy bite sizes that stores well so you can have the chocolate handy. When you need it, pull out a piece and say:

In the darkness, I taste the sweet.
Whole and magic, I am complete.

Clear your mind and focus only on the flavor, fully enjoying the sensation of the chocolate in your mouth. Then take a cleansing breath and know good things will come.
