One of the two primary deities of modern
Wicca, the male counterpart of the
Goddess. Usually portrayed as an antlered man, the God is the lord of the forest and the animals, and is often seen as the spirit of vegetation and growth. His exact relationship to the Goddess varies somewhat from tradition, but he is always seen as her lover and usually as her child as well.
