About the Cards in Your Reading

Eight of Cauldrons
In the Past position
Eight of Cauldrons
A card in the left position indicates what has happened to affect your question in the past.

Meaning: Your successes are apparent, and you seem on the surface to be happy with your lot. Others may think you have it all, and some may long to have what they perceive you possess, but things are rarely that simple. The situation is stable, but to an extent you feel like you are at a dead end. Your heart is not full. Your instincts are telling you to get up and leave whilst the going is good. There is no shame in this. You must stop and consider what brings to your heart a sense of joy and happiness, albeit others may judge you to be selfish. The journey ahead may be an uphill struggle, but you are doing the right thing.

Ten of Wands
In the Present position
Ten of Wands
A card in the middle position indicates what is affecting your question at this time.

Meaning: It seems obvious that you have taken on too much; you are overstretched and, in a manner, a prisoner to your own successes and sense of responsibility. But remember that with responsibility one needs to master the ability to respond to situations in a manner that prevents them from overwhelming us. This card is a warning that your hard work, whilst paying off, possibly abundantly, is leaving its mark on your face, on your wrinkles, on your blood pressure! You are no doubt incredibly stressed. You need to delegate, prioritize, and realize that your achievements should be for your benefit, not for the sole reason that it makes you look good.

Nine of Cauldrons
In the Future position
Nine of Cauldrons
A card in the right position indicates your questions future.

Meaning: There is no shame in taking time out. The gods know that you have had quite enough on your plate, and maybe a well-earned rest is just what mind, body, and spirit require. Do not be fooled by the assumed superficiality of this card, for celebration and feasting are truly good for the spirit: they reaffirm our social groups and communities, they give us space to share a common language and cause. They allow us the opportunity to stop being so bloody serious all the time, let your hair down, and just enjoy yourself. If you think you need a holiday, the chances are you do. So book that cottage in the mountains, go on that cruise, and just immerse yourself in simply having a good time.
