About the Cards in Your Reading

The Magician
In the Past position
The Magician
A card in the left position indicates what has happened to affect your question in the past.

Meaning: The Magician represents the conscious awareness of power and the burst of action required to bring about willful results. Are you aware of that power and its potential? As above, so below; magic is everywhere, but energy without form is formless and meaningless. This card asks you to ponder the use of power in your life or situation.

Six of Cauldrons
In the Present position
Six of Cauldrons
A card in the middle position indicates what is affecting your question at this time.

Meaning: Something has stirred the edges of memory and brought them to the fore; it may well be that a reunion is on the verge of occurring. There may also be a lot of looking back all of a sudden, and one needs to ask why. If we long for the past and its sense of enjoyment and happiness, innocence and beauty, then we are lacking something of those qualities in the present. Still, there is a lot to be learnt from our elders as well as from the innocence of our youth. Which would serve you and your issue best at this moment in time? Remember, it is this moment that really matters. Be here now!

The Tower
In the Future position
The Tower
A card in the right position indicates your questions future.

Meaning: The Tower is emotive, and it is perhaps one of the least understood cards of the Major Arcana. Its appearance can be jarring and a little shocking but pertinent. Sometimes for things to get back on their feet foundations need to be rocked, and if they are weak the building above will collapse. For new ground to be made, the old must be destroyed; inevitably, a great change is coming. Clearing away the debris of a situation is healing in itself. Do not fear the change, but instead take an active hand in embracing it. Surely this situation can't go on in the manner it has endured. The Tower is the harbinger of change, but this is not to suggest that the change will be positive or negative; it could be either. Look to the cards that surround it for clues to the nature of the coming change. On the other hand, an intolerable situation is on the verge of critical mass; release is imminent. The question is, do you welcome or fear it?
