About the Cards in Your Reading

Six of Wands
In the Past position
Six of Wands
A card in the left position indicates what has happened to affect your question in the past.

Meaning: You have worked hard, and finally you are being recognized for your efforts. There is a lot of pride in this card; victory comes with glory and kudos. You can afford to be proud of yourself—why shouldn't you be? You have worked for it. Bask in the glory of your achievements.

The Tower
In the Present position
The Tower
A card in the middle position indicates what is affecting your question at this time.

Meaning: The Tower is emotive, and it is perhaps one of the least understood cards of the Major Arcana. Its appearance can be jarring and a little shocking but pertinent. Sometimes for things to get back on their feet foundations need to be rocked, and if they are weak the building above will collapse. For new ground to be made, the old must be destroyed; inevitably, a great change is coming. Clearing away the debris of a situation is healing in itself. Do not fear the change, but instead take an active hand in embracing it. Surely this situation can't go on in the manner it has endured. The Tower is the harbinger of change, but this is not to suggest that the change will be positive or negative; it could be either. Look to the cards that surround it for clues to the nature of the coming change. On the other hand, an intolerable situation is on the verge of critical mass; release is imminent. The question is, do you welcome or fear it?

The Sun
In the Future position
The Sun
A card in the right position indicates your questions future.

Meaning: Often bad news makes for a better reading, or rather a chewier reading. Whilst you should take note of the position of the Sun card as being central to any reading, be aware that it can almost appear a little sickly sweet. Things are going well; there is joy and cheer aplenty. This is an immensely positive card: things are on the upswing, the situation will be illuminated, and enlightenment will ensue. Whilst happiness is a fleeting, unsustainable affair, behold that happiness is coming your way. So be optimistic and positive—let go of the negative feelings or fear that you have surrounding this question. Everything will work out just fine.
