Alanna Kaivalya, PhD, is an author and educator whose work explores the intersection of mythology, depth psychology, spirituality, and personal transformation.
For more than two decades, she taught yoga, mythology, philosophy, and professional teacher training internationally. She founded The Kaivalya Yoga Method, pioneered fully online yoga teacher training in 2015, and wrote Myths of the Asanas, Sacred Sound, and Yoga Beyond the Mat: How to Make Yoga Your Spiritual Practice.
Alanna holds a PhD in Mythological Studies with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her years in yoga education became the foundation for an expanding body of work exploring how mythology, psychology, embodiment, relationship, and spiritual practice shape human transformation.
After building The Kaivalya Yoga Method into a seven-figure professional education company, she sold the business in 2023 and brought that broader body of work forward to serving women and modern femininity.
Today, Alanna is the author of The Way of the Satisfied Woman: Reclaiming Feminine Power, founder of The Satisfied Woman, and creator of The Satisfied Method™, a contemporary feminine psychology framework for women.s satisfaction and sovereignty.
Her current work can be found at TheSatisfiedWoman.com.
