

Debra DeAngelo is a garden variety Pagan and eclectic solitary dirt witch. She has written three books for Llewellyn as well as feature stories and opinion pieces for Witches & Pagans and SageWoman magazines, and she has self-published two anthologies. She taught beginning Paganism classes for University Magickus (an online paranormal/magical school) for more than two years. Debra continues to lead a monthly tarot study group, now in its tenth year, and reads tarot privately and at public events.
Following a long career in print journalism as a managing editor and award-winning, syndicated opinion columnist, she now focuses on her massage practice, magical exploration, writing, and horseback riding. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California at Davis and is a graduate of Massage Therapy Institute in Davis.
