The paranormal ability to bend a piece of metal without applying physical pressure to it. For some reasons, this is usually done with silverware, especially spoons. Popularized in the 1970s by the entertainer Uri Geller, who stands by the claim that it is a paranormal ability. Debunkers have duplicated Geller's feats. Whether they are using the same method is not known. Since 1988, Jack Houck has been running “PK Parties” where people learn to bend silverware without applying that pressure that it would normally take to bend the metal.
