Spell: Greek Initiates Mystery Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

It is difficult to determine with any precision the dates on our Gregorian calendar that correspond to dates on the ancient Greek calendar- or calendars, because each Greek city-state had their own version. However, our best reckoning tells us September 24 or 25 corresponds to the 19th day of the Greek month of Boedromion, when the cry went out in Athens:
Initiates to the sea!
This marked the start of preparations for the Eleusinian Mysteries, a celebration of the beginning of the dark half of the year. Upon hearing the cry, participants purified themselves by bathing in the sea. At this time, we would all profit by purifying ourselves through fasting and a hot bath. It is a good day for introspection. Devote time now to examining what aspects of your soul need development. Tarot is an excellent tool for this.
