Take a leisurely walk by a river bank, pond, or ocean beach, and ask the land spirits to lend you a stone. Let your intuition guide you to a smooth, pleasing stone that sits well in the palm of your hand. Wash it in the water, and thank the spirits for their gift. Leave a natural gift of birdseed, nuts, or acorns nearby. If possible, set the stone out in moonlight for three days. Anoint the stone with a drop of oil to enhance your intention.
